Changes to stamp
duty legislation
Recent changes to the Duties Act 2000 mean
that stamp duty is now payable on transfers of all Alpine properties where the
entitlement to occupy the property is conferred through the ownership of shares
in a company. Previously such transfers were not liable to conveyance (transfer
of land) duty.
Rodney Saw of our firm are not only familiar with these changes but also have
extensive experience in all aspects of Alpine property transactions, and should
you be interested in buying, selling or developing Alpine property you can
contact them through this page.
